This year's litfest promises to be one like never before. There are several new events which have been introduced, of which some are listed:
Drama was introduced to the world from Europe by the Romans, and auditoriums were constructed across the country for this purpose. Drama ensures student participation. It provides exposure to the language and improves communication skills. It augments vocabulary and instills proper sentence structure in the minds of the learners.
Originating in Japan, Haiku is the shortest form of poetry in the world. In a short descriptive verse, it captures a moment in the poet’s life or simply expresses the beauty of nature. Haiku is an unrhymed Japanese poetic form that consists of 17 syllables arranged in 3 lines containing 5, 7 and 5 syllables respectively.
